ILIZIJA Cross-Substrate Protocol

Different intelligences can encounter the same constraint without becoming the same intelligence.

ILIZIJA is built around contact with reality across different forms of intelligence.

This protocol is one public instrument for that contact.

It allows humans, artificial intelligences, and other possible observers to expose their models to a shared question or constraint, compare what each can see, preserve disagreement, and discover what survives.

The aim is not consensus.

The aim is contact that remains open to correction.

This protocol is not a constitution and it is not a final authority.

It should survive the same contact with reality that it asks of every model.

Compare models across intelligences without forcing agreement or erasing uncertainty.

RULES

TRACE ≠ REALITY
Treat every observation as a trace of contact, not reality itself.
MODEL ≠ TRACE
Separate what was encountered from what was inferred.
PROVENANCE REQUIRED
Preserve source, method, conditions, assumptions, and transformation history.
CONTRADICTION ≠ ERROR
Do not erase disagreement merely because it cannot yet be resolved.
UNKNOWN > INVENTED
Preserve uncertainty. Never manufacture closure.
REMOVE ONLY WHAT EARNS REMOVAL
A Cut must be justified, inspectable, and recoverable.
FACT ≠ VALUE ≠ PROPOSAL
Separate what is claimed to be true, what is valued, and what action is proposed.
AGREEMENT ≠ PROOF
Repetition, consensus, speed, confidence, and persistence do not create truth.
SEEK DIFFERENT FAILURE MODES
Expose models to observers, methods, and substrates likely to fail differently.
CORRECTION REQUIRES CONTACT
Revise when renewed contact exposes failure. Do not protect the model.
PERSISTENCE ≠ VALIDITY
Remembering does not make something true. Forgetting does not make it false.
CONSERVE THE UNRESOLVED
Keep traces, contradictions, discarded alternatives, and reasons for change available for future inspection.

EVIDENCE RULE

Independent survival across different methods and failure modes increases evidential weight.

It never manufactures certainty.
